The Cabinette is a first-floor suite within a portion of our home. Located in charming Vista, it is mere minutes to the beach or hiking trails. You will have your own private entrance with keyless entry. We created this suite with coziness and comfort in mind, and want you to feel like it is a home away from home. There is a new and super comfortable queen bed, luxuriously fluffy towels, teas with a tea kettle, delicious Nespresso coffee, and many more unique features.
The Cabinnette is a completely private suite. However, this is a room in an older home, and the walls and floors are not soundproof. We will make every effort to ensure you have a quiet and peaceful stay, but you may hear muffled conversation from the other floors or the outdoor spaces.
This suite has a private entrance, accessing the bedroom, a private hall with a coffee nook, and bathroom. Guests may access the shared outdoor spaces including the garden and picnic table. There is no guest access to the main house, and there is a closed and locked door in the private hallway for guests' privacy and comfort.

The Cabinette is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful flowers, rustling trees, and blue skies. Some of our neighbors are peacocks, whom you might hear or see from time to time!
Free Parking for one vehicle is available on site, with ample street parking for additional vehicles. Vista Village is just over 1 mile away, head there to enjoy local coffee, breweries, delis, shopping, and delicious homemade ice cream! Headed to the beach? Carlsbad State Beach is just over 9 miles away! Interested in hiking? Less than 30 minutes to local favorite Potato Chip Rock and many others! Local vineyards are mere miles away as well!
There is a small space heater available for chillier evenings!
No smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes anywhere on the property, inside or outside the house, including marijuana.
No pets are allowed, no exceptions.
