Positive: The hotel seems to have been built and furnished some 40 or 50 years ago, and is in it's twilight years, but it has a certain charm and cosiness about it. Personally, I enjoyed being here and Samuel, the manager, was quite helpful. We paid 108 Soles for a twin room with breakfast. The internet is fast and reliable. The shower is hot and has good pressure. There is a lovely seating area with large, conservatory windows to enjoy the hillside archaeological views.

Negative: On arrival, there was some confusion about the name. Apparently it is not called Andean Lodge, but another name. Let's just say that the check in was not the smoothest I've ever had, but the lady at reception managed to sort things out. She seemed knowledgeable about the Booking.com system and found a reasonably quick solution. I believe we were charged US$10 for breakfast which was 2 toasted breads, 1 glass of orange juice and coffee - it wasn't Starbucks.

Summary: Should you stay here? I'd lean towards 'yes'.
