Positive: Away from tourist madness. I felt like I was in real Spain, regular people, families. You're right above Casco Viejo. You can walk up and down the 319 steps...no need for a gym. The area has a beautiful park, scenic views, proximity to downtown Bilbao. Casco Viejo is a Metro station. You are about 30 minutes away from Plentzia a beautiful beach area. The Metro is very inexpensive. You can get around. If you want the touristy stuff, just walk down the steps and you're there. A little hideout from the crowds. You're right by a wonderful supermarket. Lots of little bars where you can get your morning coffee. A super amazing cathedral right there too. Great deal for a great price. Rooms are sparce, but who spend all their time in the room when in Spain, right? If that is what you like, my room was small and sparce but it's what I needed for what I was doing which is using my room as my hang out before engaging in walking all over the place.

Negative: A bit hard to find. The Taxi guy got a bit lost. It helps if you speak Spanish. If you don't, it can be a bit difficult. Some more color in the room would be nice. But the bed was great.

Summary: Very nice. I'd rent here again without a doubt.
