Summary: We spent a wonderful week at the Brathay Lodge. The room was very comfortable with a big high bed. Trevor, Karen, Zoe and Carol were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble The hospitality tray was well received. Parking was excellent alongside the hotel. The hotel was ideally placed, minutes from the town centre , shops, restaurants etc The only down side, I appreciate due to the age of the building, there was no lift which would have been helpful carrying our luggage up and down the stairs to the second floor. However this would not stop us staying at this great hotel in the future. Thank you all
