Chalet Bergrose is conveniently located about 250 metres (4 - 5 minutes walk) from central Wengen, the train station, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The route is downhill and down some steps. There is also an alternative route to avoid the steps if required. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen station.
The modern open-plan living and dining space, with a natural wood floor and stylish furnishings, gives this a modern Alpine feel. With windows along two sides of the living area, it offers wonderful views of the famous Jungfrau mountain and the stunning Lauterbrunnen valley. Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is straightforward. There is a multi-storey car park (paid) next to Lauterbrunnen train station with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. From there, it is an 11-minute scenic mountain train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes from 21:30 until 02:40 AM. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
