Cotswold Retreat is a peaceful self contained annex adjoining our house with views of the Cotswold countryside. It's an ideal spot for exploring nearby Cheltenham, Cirencester and the Cotswolds or as a base for walking & cycling.
We are well located for Cheltenham Races and Festivals and are close to local wedding venues The Barn at Upcote and The Frogmill Pub
We are on a bus route which runs from Cheltenham - Bourton on the Water - Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh.
The space
The retreat is a private annex on the side of our house.
It has its own private entrance via a gate and door. There is an allocated parking space on the driveway at the front of the house.
You will enter the property via your own private door and come into a hallway that has a boot rack and coat stand with plenty of hooks. To the right there’s a door into your private bathroom and on the left a door leading to your bedroom.
You will find a Mini fridge, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities on the worktop in the hallway. Along with a corkscrew/bottle opener and glasses.
The bedroom has a comfortable King size bed, hanging space for clothes, dressing table, bedside tables, armchair and a full length mirror.
The modern bathroom has a large shower cubicle with an adjustable handset.
The accommodation is only attached to the main house via a hallway (which is locked), so the bedroom is effectively detached so it’s private.
If you are staying with us as a base for walking or cycling, we will be happy to store your bikes in our locked garage (min 48hrs notice required for this) and we have a hose for you to clean off your bikes before putting them back in your car.
If you like nature / wildlife and walking the Retreat is a perfect place for you – there are plenty of countryside walks nearby

We are on the Pulhams 801 Bus route (Bus stop on the corner of our road), which runs from Cheltenham, Andoversford - Bourton on the Water - Stow on the Wold - Moreton in Marsh - Chipping Norton.
Our location and bus service means that we are well located for Cheltenham races and Cheltenham Festivals. We are located 5 miles from Cheltenham town centre.
We are a 10-15 minute walk from the award winning Frogmill Pub and Restaurant.
The Barn at Upcote Wedding Venue is a 4 minute drive away.
Cowley Manor Hotel, Spa and Restaurant and the Green Dragon pub and village shop are only a 10 minute drive away, both serve amazing food.
Dunkertons Park is only 2.5 miles away and can be reached by car in 5 minutes. Here you can buy Organic Cider, a selection of Daylesford Organic Food, fabulous pastries and coffee from La Boulangerie Artisan and great food from their selection of food trucks.
