The space
Two (2) minutes’ walk to the world famous Devon House, where the best ice cream, pastries along with exquisite dining is available. The apartment is a few minutes away, walking/driving from many Embassies and High Commissions, such as, the Canadian, Unites States, British, Germany, Nigerian and Cayman just to name a few.
In addition to Carmen’s Smart Oasis being aesthetically a place of relaxation and rejuvenation, as mentioned in the name, it is smart. With Amazon's Echo with Alexa, you can control the apartment with your voice! Too tired to check if you had closed the door? Want to turn on/off the lights, air condition, fan and television? No worries, ask Alexa, your friend to do it for you. Use your phone to initiate having your coffee made. When leaving the apartment, simply say "Alexa" "Turn off everything" or press the departure button at the door... Wondering if you locked the door? We can program the door to close automatically when you leave! Everything included for your ease and comfort. This is your home away from home.

***Of special note is the fact that although the apartment has one room with a queen bed, because of the sleeper sofa in the living room, which converts to the size of a full bed, we can accommodate two additional persons on the sleeper sofa. Therefore, the apartment is built for two (2) but can accommodate four (4). Additional guest charge applies per person per night when more than 2 guests are staying in the apartment***
For guests staying for a week (ie 7 nights) or more, we offer complimentary cleaning once a week to ensure the place is refreshed for our guests and to help maintain the space.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire complex and facilities, except the linen closet within the apartment. This is reserved for our supplies for replenishment and cleaning.
Other things to note
- Guided walkthroughs will be provided, upon request by the guest, for all features and functionalities of the apartment to facilitate maximum usage.
- House keys have a presence sensor, which if lost or damaged will result in a US$100 replacement fee. Additionally if the key is lost, this will require changing at least one of the locks (for safety reasons). As such an additional replacement fee of up to US$200 (e.g. If we have to change the smart deadbolt) will me charged for each lock replacement.
All automated systems are in place to save energy and provide convenience. However, let us know and we will adjust them to meet your needs.
