Travel Purpose: business

Positive: I strongly recommend staying at Dar Essaouira! You get the whole elegant Moroccan apartment with two nice bedrooms and a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and a laundry room with a modern washing machine. The kitchen has the tajine setup, if you want to practice making Moroccan food. The place is 10-15 minutes by walking from Medina, in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is 10 minutes by walking, and you can have a nice stroll to Medina along the seaside. There are stores and fruits and veggie stands for your basic shopping. Carrefour and Atacadao are 15 minutes away. What to me was most important was the hospitality and the high-quality of service provided by the hosts. Fruits and water were waiting for me, as well as my own packages of tea and coffee, so I could make something to drink right away. This winter in Morocco is very cold, so on the second day, my hostess bought me a brand new electric heater! She also checked up on me a few times to make sure that my stay is comfortable. When I revisit Essaouira, I will definitely stay at Dar Essaouira again.
