Located on a quiet side street in Harbert, this large and casual five-bedroom, five-bathroom house is a great vacation getaway for families or large groups. With a short half a mile walk or ride to the Harbert Road beach access point, pool table, private hot tub, wet bar, and huge outdoor area what is not to love!
The main floor includes two large living areas located at opposite ends of the house. On one end is a spacious kitchen and dining area with a beautiful brick wood-burning fireplace separating the two. The dining area features a rustic grain wood table with seating for 10 and a large flatscreen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and a convenient breakfast bar with seating for seven. The living area on the opposite side is perfect for entertaining as it boasts a sit down wet bar, pool table, poker table, and a lounge area with a comfy leather sectional couch from which to enjoy the action or watch the flatscreen TV. With numerous windows, skylights, and sliding doors leading outdoors, these living areas are bathed in natural light.
A metal spiral staircase leads up from the entertainment room to a roomy loft area and main bedroom. The loft area contains a gas fireplace. Adjacent to the loft is the main bedroom which includes a queen bed with an ensuite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub, walk-in slate shower, and gas fireplace. The main bedroom exits to a private deck with a staircase down to the hot tub area.
The other four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms are located on the main floor. Three bedrooms, a full bathroom with an in-floor Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, and a powder room are located off the central hallway. Two of these bedrooms have queen beds and the third has two full beds. The fourth bedroom, which includes an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in slate shower as well as a sliding door out to a deck; and the second powder room is located off the entertainment room. Also located on the main floor is the washer and dryer.
Outdoor amenities include a sizable yard, a stone patio with a large built-in barbeque grill, an elevated deck with a sunken hot tub, a firepit, chaise lounges for soaking up the sun's rays, and a table for al fresco dining.
