Positive: Such a beautiful location, and appreciated the option to eat dinner & breakfast on the premises, access to kayaks, and the cultural Uros islands activity ticket. While riding out our altitude adjustment having freshly arrived from sea level, we didn't do much other than look at the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains & lake from the outside bed, inside beds or couch, to the back living room couch or dining room table or back deck overlooking the marsh. Lovely blue-billed ducks and nature sounds. Peaceful & quiet. The stargazing at night was also spectacular (the constellations & southern cross, new to us northies, and the southern Milky Way), whether from outside, or through the glass inside while in a hot bath in the lovely recessed bathtub. Also appreciated the owner's family - the sweet woman who prepared our meals & drove the boat back, her adorable child that brought us his new kitten to show off, and the accommodating husband who picked us up, gave us the property tour, and was able to give us a comparable different house when the one we reserved was double booked. There was plenty of hot water to fill the entire bathtub which was really nice. Plenty of hot drinkable thermos water & tea selection was also included and that was so nice and comforting. The place was super clean & high end glamping indeed.

Negative: Please use only the boiled water provided to brush your teeth & drink. I was blithe about the tap water and got a wicked case of "montezuma's revenge" (my fault, not the property's; you should just be extra careful about the water). Also the gas flame space heater indoors... we asked for it to be kept off because those are really not rated for indoor use and we didn't want to get headaches or worse. Plenty of blankets kept us perfectly warm on a winter night, but just beware or at least ask questions. On arrival at the pickup pier it was a little hard to get in touch with the owner to verify pickup (it had been prearranged by email but we arrived early and subsequent messages in booking.com and what's app didn't get an answer); however a phone call with our limited Spanish got the owner right away and subsequently got us picked up. Just make sure to have phone service and be patient.
