Positive: There is nothing that was not amazing. 1. The house itself is of historic interest and has been renovated and modernised with consdiration and care; providing the feel of being taken back in time, while still having modern conveniences available to you. 2. The villas (where I stayed, after an upgrade) are idyllic; each is privately positioned, with beautiful decoration, spacious room, log fire, beautiful bathtubs, showers, hot tub outside along with a sauna. 3. The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic; we dined for the NYE celebration and the food was exceptional. 4. The grounds are exceptionally well kept, and while there is expansion work ongoing (new villas) - everything is very tidy. 5. THE STAFF. Sayward runs the show, and she is absolutely fantastic - she went above and beyond in making our stay fantastic. The rest of the team were brilliant; courteous, responsive and fun to talk with. The team made the the stay feel so much more intimate because of their attention and attitude.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Absolutely Amazing. Don't go anywhere near Oban without staying here.
