Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The last night of my stay in Cusco, I decided to try out this low-cost hotel on the recommendation of a friend. My first impression was a bit of shock, but the staff were very friendly, and the place was clean and safe. They provide toilet paper, clean towels, hair-dryer, wifi worked well. I slept really well — the bed had many layers of blankets, and although it was quite cold at night, it was warm and comfortable under them. For the price (about $15), especially after staying in $40 hotels, I could definitely see the difference, but overall it was a good experience.

Negative: I managed to take a hot shower in the evening, but in the morning there was no hot water. The room door didn’t have a proper lock, which felt insecure. There was no real windows, but there was at least a tiny window to ventilate the room.

Summary: For travellers who want to save money, but still sleep safe and not far from the downtown.
