Summary: The ocean view rooms actually have full on views of the ocean. This is a very quaint and incredibly well located lodge in the area of Summerland. Management is a little bit uptight in terms of process. It could be a turn off to some people. They're not disruptive and they are not invasive. But they will hound you to death in terms of what time you're going to arrive. Also moving rooms or changing rooms with another name is overly complicated. For example a friend I was traveling with had a last-minute job which did not allow them to use their room. They simply wanted to give the room to a friend, but because the room was in their name the hotel made that much more complicated than it needed to be to switch. But I would still recommend this place to everyone. Very clean very well kept in great location.
