IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE Updated - Spring, 2025
Ft. Myers Beach and the surrounding area was hit by Hurricane Ian in late September 2022. Many of the island's vacation homes and condominiums are still recovering and many are still not available as rentals.
The Santa Maria Harbour Resort property was exceptionally fortunate and although the exterior landscaping and outbuildings were damaged, the main building and individual condo units fared very well and are currently occupied. While the property is in the process of being relandscaped, the pool is currently open, a new tiki hut and additional grilling platforms are completed and being utilized. And while there is access to the beach and Gulf of Mexico just across the street from Santa Maria, additional access points around the island continue to open.
The Ft Myers Beach businesses are working to reopen. Some already have. In addition, shops and restaurants in the nearby cities of Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples are fully open. Although it will take some time for our Town to fully recover, Santa Maria is welcoming you and offering sun, sand and water to make for a great and relaxing visit.
