Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Excellent location right on the waterfront in the heart of Marzamemi with friendly host. Turn left out the front door and it was a 2 minute walk to the beach. Turn right out the door and it was a 2 minute walk to the beautiful piazza. Apartment was clean and equipped for self catering if needed. However, no oil, tea or coffee. A coffee pod machine but no pods. Great washing machine with detergent and bathroom was well appointed. Nice small balcony. There is no parking and limited zone vehicle access. We parked on the Southern side of Marzamemi and had a long walk to the property. Suggest parking at the Northern side in La Diga or Baden Powell - a much shorter walk with luggage. Also to note- there is a steep narrow spiral staircase up to the apartment.

Negative: The sofa bed was the option for the main bed unless you wanted to be upstairs on the mezzanine. The sofa bed was well worn and not comfortable. Expected better for the cost. Apartment was very small.
