This region is famous for fishing, especially in the fall when salmon run through the Salmon River. Only a couple miles north, the Salmon River also offers a prime location for trout and steelhead fishing.
The property is positioned between Altmar State Forest and Selkirk Shores State Park and near many other state parks where you’ll find great cross-country skiing, hunting, hiking and mountain biking trails.
Lake Ontario’s Mexico Bay is only 5 miles west so bring your boats and swim wear. Drop the boat and spend a day sailing, tubing and swimming, then enjoy a scenic evening sunset by the lake.
The Tug Hill Region is 20 to 30 miles east and is notorious for heavy snowfall in the Winter. The extensive snowmobiling trails offer an exciting opportunity to explore the surrounding wildlife.
Pulaski’s town center is only 3 miles north with local supermarkets, fun dining experiences and Fat Nancy’s Bait and Tackle shop to prepare your fishing equipment and clean your catches.
Travel thirty miles south to Syracuse and enjoy a fine shopping experience in the area’s largest mall. Head 20 miles the other direction to Sackets Harbor, filled with restaurants World War History museums and a beautiful harbor.
