The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located right on the seafront in one of the most popular areas of Fuengirola beach. Surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars and supermarkets, you will not need to walk more than a minute to find anything you need. The bus route also stops right behind the apartment block. The train station (Torreblanca) is also just 5-10 minutes walk round the corner.
You can walk along the flat promenade of Fuengirola which runs for 7 km, all the way past the port and town centre, to the castle end of the town. Essentially everything is in walking distance, as it's such a flat, pleasant walk to take! To get to the port and town centre does take 30 minutes but it's easy and lovely! Los Boliches is 15 mins walk away.
Getting Around:
The apartment has a private parking space, so you have guaranteed parking at all times for 1 car.
The bus route also stops right behind the apartment block. There are buses between the west side of Fuengirola and Benalmadena, stopping everywhere in between.
The train station (Torreblanca) is also just 5-10 minutes walk round the corner. The train line runs and stops at: Fuengirola>Benalmadena>Torremolinos>Airport>Málaga with lots of other smaller stops in between. The most important stop being the airport terminals - there is NO need at all to have a hire car when staying in this apartment!
