Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The family running the place was nice and our host was very enthusiastic, offering us plenty of places to go hiking. It's close to the World Peace Stupa and plenty of cafes but they all close before dinner time.

Negative: During the night's heavy rain storm the roof leaked and water dripped onto one of the two beds, fortunately not the one we were sleeping in but it soaked my trousers that I'd laid on the bed. We ordered the simple breakfast that included an option for pancakes, which my wife requested, but we were told the simple breakfast doesn't include pancakes. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise. We were told the road outside the hotel was paved a couple of years ago and (so) now there's a lot of traffic, including buses. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was also construction going on next door. We had to close the windows to reduce the noise but there's no A/C so the rooms get hot during the day with the windows closed.

Summary: I was expecting better.
