Nestled in Western Kentucky, on the banks of Lake Barkley, near Cadiz, Kentucky, and across from the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, is a beautifully designed, light filled home blending upscale comfort with rustic charm, featuring thoughtfully curated furnishings and high-end finishes throughout. Large windows showcase stunning lake views, creating the perfect setting to relax, unwind, take in the scenery and make memories with family.
This beautiful, light-filled lake house is amazingly decorated with top-of-the-line construction and high-end furnishings and appliances. A level, concrete driveway, with ample storage for vehicles or a boat trailer, leads you to the main level, stone entry with a rustic, tongue-and-groove, spruce ceiling and wall of lake view windows.
A large, open living space, featuring a stone fireplace adjoins a fabulous kitchen with an 8-foot island and seating for five. The dining room is open to the lake views and comfortably seats six, while the breakfast area seats two and is perfect for your morning coffee. Access is provided in two areas of the great room by bi-fold sliding doors to the expansive upper deck.
The large master bedroom on the main level features a sliding door to the upper deck showcasing Lake Barkley. Top-of-the-line king mattress, and a gorgeous view of the lake welcomes guests. The master bathroom includes a large soaking tub, separate shower, double vanity, and walk-in closet.
The two spacious second and third bedrooms on the main level have queen beds, and a shared full bathroom with two sinks. The hallway is closed from the main living area by hidden pocket doors for additional privacy. All main level bedrooms and the main living area have ceiling fans.
The deck on the main level provides abundant lake views. It includes lighting, an outdoor gas grill, and comfortable outdoor seating. The one-acre lot is landscaped with a concrete paved path to the private dock. Gorgeous mature trees are located on the property. An attached garage to the house provides storage for your outdoor activity equipment.
The large, living space on the lower level, complete with walkout sliding doors to the backyard, includes a 15-foot bar with refrigerator, new pool table with captains chairs, card table, and leather sofas providing a great place to hang out and relax.
The remaining three of six bedrooms are located on the lower level. The fourth bedroom with two full beds and the fifth bedroom with two full/twin bunk combos share a bath. The sixth bedroom includes a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
