It offers luxurious rooms, private fishing pools and an award-winning restaurant, 15 miles from Stirling. Dating back to 1625, the building is filled with original period features. Individually designed rooms with attached bathroom include an LCD satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes and a hairdryer. Some rooms also feature spa baths and lounges areas. Positive: Everything - the Roman Camp is quite simply our favourite hotel in Scotland. The setting, furnishings, staff, food, everything - are impeccable!

Negative: Having to leave! The hotel has just been sold and we are hoping that the new owners maintain the look and feel of the place - it is truly unique and it’s impossible not to relax the moment you get there!
