Located right in Bala, just around the corner from the Kee to Bala!! No wake zone in front of the cottage. Located in a bay, near the historical Bala railway, shops, ice cream & LCBO. Walk to town is 5 min! While not disruptive, the local train can be heard every so often in the near distance. The "Kee to Bala", a traditional waterfront concert-and event venue, is just minutes away and can be heard over the Bala Bay during events on some evenings.
PROPERTY
ON BALA TIME - has been completely renovated on the inside but has maintained the original Muskoka charm on the outside. Driving up to the property you are greeted by a quaint front porch. Moving around to the back of the property you are greeted by level land with a slight incline to the lake. This is perfect for children or adults with mobility challenges. There is a new 2 level deck with an outdoor dining table that seats 10 with an umbrella to shade from the all day sun on one level, and an outdoor sofa set on the other. There is an upper deck off the master that looks out onto the lake and is adorned with two chaise lounges. The decks have glass railings so you never miss a minute of what's happening at the waterfront. Moving to the waters edge you will find stone steps into a shallow/sandy entry. In addition is a one slip boathouse and long dock with Muskoka chairs and water depth of 5-6 feet off the end of the dock. Great for jumping and swimming. This is a no wake zone.
