Positive: Loved the house. A bit secluded, but comfortable.

Negative: Booked with Booking.com. Got confirmation number and told "you're all set". 1 hour's drive away, I get email from a company called Novasol telling me my reservation was cancelled due to non payment. What followed was hours of agony trying to get this sorted out. Nightmare! There was no indication from Booking.com that I needed to pay someone else separately. Extremely poor on their part and Novasol is a discredit to the service industry.

Summary: Better communication is highly warranted.
