Summary: The room itself was fine except the pillows smell very stale. (but were clean). The breakfast was good. BUT.... the elevator was broken, which I understand because it was Thanksgiving they couldn't get it fixed right away. However, upon check in, the woman proceeded to tell us about the broken elevator and added "the only rooms I have are on the 3rd and 4th floor". Since my room was prepaid on a 3rd party site, it's not like I had a choice about staying. Plus it was Thanksgiving.. where would we even go? And I wouldn't get money back or anything so of course we took it. No "sorry" or "can I help you up the stairs?" (we are old) and she said it in a tone that meant she really didn't want us to stay. VERY unwelcoming. If she would have said it in a different tone OR said "sorry" I might have felt differently.
