Positive: This house is the best accommodation we've ever stayed in on the Croatian coast. The photos shown here are actually older, as the place has been beautifully updated into a gorgeous haven just steps away from a lovely beach. Upon arrival, you’ll find a terrace completely transformed from the photos, featuring a covered area with modern outdoor seating and sunbeds, an additional table with two chairs, and a charming stone outdoor kitchen by the barbecue area, further equipped with a portable stove for cooking outside. The house is so cleverly designed that we were truly amazed by the thoughtfulness of the owners. It is fully equipped with everything you might need. Honestly, it even felt better equipped than our own home as someone already commented in the reviews. The property is surrounded on all sides by lush Mediterranean greenery: olive and fig trees, flowers, succulents, cacti, and even a beautiful back garden. Although the house is located right by the beach, it still feels wonderfully private. You don’t feel exposed to the nearby hotel guests at all, but instead spend your time embraced by nature’s beauty. The beach can get a bit busy, but we actually enjoyed the lively sounds of people having a good time; it never bothered us. In fact, it added to the atmosphere. One of the highlights was the amazing outdoor shower, tucked among olive trees. The interior of the house has also been updated since the photos were taken and is very comfortable. You also have your own private parking area. We loved our stay here so much. The owners were simply wonderful, and we even bought some of their delicious olive oil. Every moment in this secluded paradise felt special. Vela Luka and the entire island of Korčula completely enchanted us; it’s an incredible place to explore. We highly recommend both this stay and the island itself!
