Summary: A small, charming hotel in a beautifully renovated traditional Dutch building. The room was compact but clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was welcoming. The location was excellent, with trams providing easy access across Amsterdam, and plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and cafés nearby. The only drawback was the heating. We stayed in late December and, despite turning it up, the room did not warm beyond 19°C. Although the room and bedding were clean, there were a few stains on the sheets that did not come out in the wash. Even with these minor issues, it remained a very lovely hotel.
