Originally built in 1945, the property served as a modest hunting and fishing cabin, offering a retreat where men would gather annually for adventurous caribou hunts. Over the passing decades, the property underwent a series of renovations. Additional bedrooms were seamlessly incorporated, expanding the original floorplan. Now, more than 75 years since its inception, the property stands as a testament to both its rich history and its adaptability to modern demands.

When you first arrive, you will be happy to find ample space for parking, which is always a great feeling when you wish to escape the city, and while the doorway may be a tight squeeze, many will be happy to find a powder room by the door. Follow the wooden panelled walls to a cozy living room - can you spot the hidden closet? On the right of the living room you will find 2 bedrooms including the master, and a full bathroom. On the left, you will find a small kitchen and dining room.

From the dining room, you will find a 2nd wing with 3 more bedrooms, and a full bathroom with a tub & shower combo. On the opposite side of the dining room is a larger open room and the original living room of the property which featured high cathedral ceilings, a large stone fireplace and mezzanine (not accessible to guests at this time).

The sprawling outdoor yard is a true playground! Perfect for outdoor gatherings and celebrations. Engage in friendly matches of beach volleyball or bocce - a timeless game that brings together generations.

Pets are welcome, make sure you add your pet to the booking as well as there is an additional cleaning fee to be added. If you do not add your pet to the booking you will be charged manually during your stay. The cleaning fee varies according to the property size.

The door has a keypad lock. All necessary info will be provided before your stay, please check your inbox for detailed instructions.

The property is available for private celebrations and gatherings, prior approval is REQUIRED as the municipality has specific requirements. Please contact us prior to booking if you wish to hold an event or celebration with more than the registered number of guests.

Please note that the property presently has an empty inground pool (deepest 4 feet). The area has a temporary safety fence to block access. Please be mindful when enjoying the many outdoor activities we offer.

We use the Duve app for our guest services. And will ask that you confirm your identity and accept additional terms and conditions in order to gain access to the property.
