Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A great central location. Our hostess made us a great Svan breakfast and we had a great chat. During this stay, I had multiple problems which were my own fault, and she went out of her way to help us out. This includes, arriving late in the evening and having no cell service to let her know ahead of time, running out of cash and not knowing how to pay for our stay, and having to leave with our rental car very early in the morning despite there being extremely muddy road construction blocking our exit—this one was serious because she actually got her husband who was a part of the project, as well as the other villagers, to lay down for us a temporary wooden driveway across the mud and help us guide our car up the narrow streets all the way to the end in order to get out. They could have just said sorry, you have to wait until later in the morning or afternoon, but they all went above and beyond to accommodate us. Pretty tremendous.

Negative: The only thing was that we had to walk outside on the balcony in order to get to the bathroom which is just uncomfortable when it’s cold. Really not that big a deal though unless it’s winter. It was October for us.
