Positive: Spacious (double bedroom plus 4 foldout beds) & airy. Ample kitchen utensils. Generous supply of all consumables. Thoughtful host who manages with a light touch. Interesting blend of bauernstil & modern decor, excellent trompe l'oeil painting in bedroom. Large garden, various seating, barbecue facilities, area of about 3 tennis courts, cut occasionally which allows meadow flowers to grow, but short enough to walk in with ease, & cut short near house. Rural location, livestock plus timber harvesting. Good hiking: in the valley, locally below the Steinernes Meer plateau & further afield. Excellent guest card includes daily trip up & down local lifts, free entry to bathing facilities & free transport throughout the province (Lande) of Salzburg, delivered in advance as a QR code so usuable for journey to & from property. Good bus service to most local areas hourly duing the day.

Negative: Generally v good. 'Could have done with a toaster & a coffee filter machine instead of Tschibo capsules' is the the only (constructive) criticism I can offer, & shows how good the place was in my view.

Summary: A lovely stay in a light & airy rural apartment run by a thoughtful & generous host. Recommended!
